Product Architecture¶

The Device Provisioning Service helps EnOS IoT Smart Devices to pre-register in EnOS before being sold to EnOS customers, after which data can be uploaded and processed as per required in the cloud.

In the Device Provisioning Service, master data groups can be created for devices that share common attributes to manage and maintain their master data, after which onboarding information such as the service gateway information, modeling, allocation rules, etc. can be configured in their respective registration groups.

By triggering allocation requests from manual or third-party applications, the Device Provisioning Service then allocates the devices to their targeted EnOS tenant service gateways, providing a zero-touch efficient device onboarding solution.

The Device Provisioning Service also provides device management capabilities such as registering, editing, allocating, reprovisioning, replacing, and deleting of devices.
