About EnOS Onboarding Tool¶
EnOS Onboarding Tool is a one-stop asset onboarding tool for asset administrators to batch onboard and manage massive numbers and different types of industrial assets.
Onboarding Tool improves onboarding efficiency by the following ways:
- Gives business semantics to complex asset data to reduce onboarding effort.
- Performs automatic validation and autofill on data entry.
- Enables different users to complete onboarding processes on schedule and in stages.
- Creates private models automatically in batches.
- Supports asset assignment for automatic topology creation.
Main Features¶
The main features of Onboarding Tool include:
- Asset Onboarding: you can onboard assets and their topologies step-by-step or create them in batches by import files. With Onboarding Tool, you can create private models automatically based on the imported assets, which can be easily selected for use in the next manual onboarding.
- Building Topology: you can build the topologies of assets and drag-to-sort, move, batch import topology nodes, and configure asset auto-assigning to nodes.
- Points Mapping: you can import a file of device source points to map automatically to the model points in the OU and manually modify the auto-mapping results.
- States Mapping: you can import a file of device states to automatically map to the standard states preset in the OU, and manually modify the auto-mapping results.
- Business Tag Tool: you can automatically add business tags of Onboarding Tool to the specified assets, or update tags in batches of the assets in the OU.
