High Availability¶
Edge has high availability (HA) design for all its modules to meet the availability and control requirements for energy and industrial scenarios.
Application¶
EnOS Edge HA can be applied into the following scenarios:
Data Source: Support single & multiple data sources
Edge deployment scenarios: Support both no gatekeeper and gatekeeper mode
Fault Scenarios:
Server power off, network disconnection
Software process & health abnormality
Gatekeeper communication interrupted
Master and Slave heartbeat interrupted
Features¶
EnOS Edge HA has the following features:
Support multi-channel switching of data access.
Provide a public virtual address to the outside without perceiving the switch of the whole machine.
Ensure the synchronization of real-time data, model asset information, and time series data
Use Path¶
Set Up EnOS Edges for Standby¶
Log in to the EnOS Management Console and select EnOS Edge > Edge Management from the left navigation menu.
Click the View icon for an Edge to enter its Edge Detail page.
Click the Add beside “Standby Device”, select an Edge from the list to add as the standby EnOS Edge, and click Confirm.
Click Publish to publish the change for the Edge.
Remove a Standby EnOS Edge¶
You can click Remove next to the added standby edge to unbind it as the standby for the Edge.
