Managing Alarm List Fields¶

On the Alarm Config page, you can configure aliases and the display order of fields in Alarm Management and associated emails and SMS messages.

Prerequisites¶

Before starting, make sure the current account has been assigned the menu group containing Alarm Config. If not assigned, contact the OU administrator.

Creating a Field Configuration Rule¶

Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
Select New, and then in Basic Information enter the following information:
- Configuration Name: Enter the name of the field configuration.
- Enable Global Configuration: Select whether to enable the function. If enabled, field aliases take effect on pages with the configured fields; if disabled, field aliases take effect on pages under the selected site type.
In Object Configuration, select the Site Type to which the alarm list belongs. You can configure only one field configuration rule for each site type.
In Field Configuration > System Field Alias Settings, select the Internationalization icon to enter or modify the internationalized names of the fields. The field names in the list are displayed in the same language as the current OU. For example, if the language of the current OU is Chinese, the modified Simplified Chinese name will be displayed in the field.
In Display Settings > Field Display Settings, select the drag icon to change the order of the fields in the alarm list by drag and drop. You can also select Add Field to add fields to the alarm list.
Select Save to create the field configuration.

After creating a field configuration rule, you can view the corresponding entry in the list on the Field Configuration tab.

Enabling the Global Configuration¶

Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
Enable Global Configuration to make field aliases in a configuration rule take effect on the Alarm Management pages that contain these fields. You can enable only one global configuration for each OU.

Editing a Field Configuration Rule¶

Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
Select Edit in the target field configuration rule row.
Select Save.

Duplicating a Field Configuration Rule¶

Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
Select Duplicate in the target field configuration rule row to edit in the duplicated field configuration rule.
Select Save.

Deleting a Field Configuration Rule¶

Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
Select Delete in the target field configuration rule row.
In Delete This Item, select Confirm. Field configuration rules cannot be restored once deleted.
