Configuring OU Security Settings


This article introduces how OU administrators view audit logs and configure OU security settings in the Admin Console of Application Portal.

Viewing Audit Logs


The audit log contains operation records such as the login, logout, and system configuration of all users within the OU. You can view the audit logs of the current OU by the following steps:

  1. Select Audit Log from the left navigation pane of the Admin Console.

  2. Select the time period to query audit logs on the Data/Time box of the top left corner. You can select the search icon i_search along side User to search for audit logs triggered by the target users, or select the filter icon i_filter along side Account Type, Resource Type or Event to filter audit logs.

  3. Select the details icon i_detail of an event from the event list to view the details of the event.

  4. (Optional) Select Export to export the audit logs within the specified time period. You can export the logs within 60 days. If you need to export logs more than 60 days before, contact the system administrator.

Configuring Password Rules


  1. Select Security Settings from the left navigation pane of the Admin Console.

  2. On the Password Rules tab, configure the following information:


    Field

    Description

    Required Characters

    Select the types of characters that passwords must contain.

    Minimum Password Length

    Specify the minimum length of user passwords.

    Retry Limit

    Specify the number of incorrect password attempts allowed in an hour. Once exceeding the number, the account will be locked for 2 minutes.

    Reuse Limit

    Specify the number of old passwords that users cannot use.


  3. Select Apply Changes.

Configuring Login Security


  1. Select Security Settings from the left navigation pane of the Admin Console.

  2. On the Login Security tab, configure the following information:


    Field

    Description

    Session Timeout

    Specify the time period when user can stay inactive before automatic logout.

    Multi-Factor Authentication

    Enable or disable multi-factor authentication.
    After enabling this function, users should enter the email verification code when logging in Application Portal.


  3. Select Apply Changes.
