FAQ¶
Common questions about Notification Management are as follows.
Q: What are the main features of Notification Management?¶
A: There are currently two push formats, SMS and email, which support EnOS services and EnOS on registered apps. The service also provides different forms of push quota management for different services/applications, prevent resource crowding, push measurement, and send record functions.
Q: How is Notification Management used?¶
A: An application registered with EnOS first needs to open the application quota in the Notification Management service using the OU administrator account. Then the application developer can use the corresponding push interface on APIM to invoke the application. See Notification Management Service API.
Q: WHat is the difference between the Notification Management and Notice service?¶
A: Notification Management can be deployed privately and can be connected to third-party SMTP servers and custom SMS providers, and support quota and metering functions. The Notice service provides the pushing of public cloud service for Envision and do not support third-party SMTP servers and mail providers, as well as functions such as quotas and metering.
Q: What do the message push management and service call API errors mean?¶
A: To use the API, you need to go to the Notification Management service to apply quotas and approve them. See Quota Management for quotas.
