Querying Tag Template Metadata¶
With the pre-defined tags in tag templates, you can quickly attach tags to measuring points, assets, Hive tables, and services based on business needs.
With Data Catalog, you can query the metadata information of created tag templates.
Querying tag templates¶
Data Catalog supports querying the metadata information of created tag templates. You can search for tag templates by taking the following steps:
- Log in to the EnOS Console and select Data Catalog from the left navigation bar.
- In the left Type list, select Tag Template.
- In the search field, type keywords to search for tag templates, as shown below:
Note
The search keywords are case sensitive and can match the ID, name, and description of tag templates.
Viewing search results¶
In the tag template search result list, click the View icon in the Operations column, open the page of tag template details, and view the following metadata of the template.
Basic information¶
Under the Basic tab, view the basic information of tag template, including:
- Name and description of the tag template
- List of tags pre-defined in the template, including tag name and tag value type
Attached objects¶
Under Attached Objects tab, view the list of objects that are attached with the tag template.
- Select an object type from the drop-down list.
- In the search result list, view the information of attached objects, including the ID, name, and description of the objects.
