Data Catalog Overview

The metadata, also known as mediation data and relay data, is the data about data. Metadata is often used in the following business scenarios:

  • Describing objects such as information resources or data
  • Providing structured data about the information related to resources.
  • Identifying resources, evaluating resources, and tracking changes of resources in its usage
  • Simply and efficiently managing a large number of networked data, achieving effective discovery, search, integrated organization, and effective management of resources.
