Share Model Data

In the developer OU, model packages, models, and model elements can be shared with other OUs. After sharing, other OUs can view and use the shared model data. This file explains how to share model data.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have access to the group’s developer OU. If not, contact the OU administrator to assign permissions or the system administrator to set the current OU as a developer OU for a specific group. For more information, refer to Model Management Permission Allocation.

Note

Custom groups (custom) data cannot be shared.

Operation Steps

  1. In the Developer Console of the application portal, select Sharing Management.

  2. Go to the Model or Model Package tab, and select the Configure button_model button to the right of the target model or model package.

  3. In the Configure Sharing Policy pop-up window, complete the configuration based on the following information:

    • Sharing Policy

      • Internal Use Only: Only visible to this OU; the model cannot be shared.

      • Share with All OUs: Share the model with all OUs.

    • Sharing Method: When the sharing policy is set to Share with All OUs, you need to configure the synchronization method for the shared model.

      • Automatic: EnOS automatically synchronizes the model to existing or newly created OUs. When the model or model package is updated, all OUs will automatically receive updates.

      • Manual: Manually trigger the synchronization process for existing or new OUs. If the model is updated after sharing, updates will not be automatically synchronized to the corresponding OUs.

  4. Click Confirm to complete the sharing policy configuration.

  5. If the manual synchronization method is selected, click the Share share button to the right of the target model to trigger the sharing process.

Note

If the model references components, ensure the components are shared simultaneously when sharing the model.

Results

Once the model is successfully shared, the Sharing Status column will update to Success.

  • For manually shared models, if the model is updated or a new OU joins the current environment, you can click the Share share button again to synchronize changes to all OUs.

  • If sharing fails, click the View Error Details error button to download the error log, resolve the issue, and then click the Share share button to share manually.
