Configuring Visual Groups¶
For defining the types of business object (such as site type, device type, component type, and custom type) contained in a group, as well as the display name and order of the business objects (such as solar site, wind site, and other sites, as well as turbine, inverter and other devices) to meet the needs of the business object in different business scenarios.
Creating Visual Groups¶
Select Visualization Group from the left navigation pane.
Select New Group, and enter the group name, identifier and description in the popup window.
Select Save.
Configuring Visual Groups¶
Select Visualization Group from the left navigation pane.
Find the group to be configured in the object list. Select Configure on the right to open the object group configuration page.
In the Category section on the left, select New Category and enter the category name and identifier to create a new category.
Select Add Business Object on the right, and then select Object Type (select one) and Business Object (you can select more than one) to add to the category. Repeat this step to add additional business objects if necessary.
After a business object is added, you can:
Press and hold the drag button corresponding to the business object to adjust the display order of the business object.
Select Edit Display Name to edit the display name of the business object in the group.
Select Remove corresponding to the business object to remove the business object.
Managing Visual Groups¶
You can edit, export, import, duplicate and delete a visual group that has been created.
Editing Visual Groups¶
Select Visualization Group from the left navigation pane.
Select Edit corresponding to the visual group to edit the name and description of the visual group.
When finished, select Save.
Exporting Visual Groups¶
Select Visualization Group from the left navigation pane.
Select Export Group.
After the group is exported, select Download Exported File to download the Excel file.
Importing Visual Groups¶
Select Visualization Group from the left navigation pane.
Select Import Group. In the popup window, select Download Template to download the Excel template. After entering the required information, select Upload to upload the file.
Select Import.
Duplicating Visual Groups¶
Select Visualization Group from the left navigation pane.
Select Duplicate corresponding to the visual group.
In the popup window, edit the name, identifier and description of the new group, and select Save.
The new group duplicated will contain the business object types and categories configured in the original group.
Deleting Visual Groups¶
Select Visualization Group from the left navigation pane.
Select Delete corresponding to the visual group.
Select Delete in the popup window.
