Quick Start: Configuring Onboarding Templates¶

The onboarding template integrates the business objects (such as station types, device types, component types, custom types, vendor models, and dimensions) and business rules required by the OU. Using templates to call the required data, rules, and processes can safely and quickly access assets.

Configuring Onboarding Templates on Page¶

For a brand new environment or OU in a new domain, the content of the onboarding template needs to be configured step by step according to business needs. See Unit 3: Configuring Onboarding Templates to complete the initial configuration of the template.

Importing Onboarding Templates in Batches¶

If you need to reuse templates of other environments or OUs, you can follow Exporting and Importing Resource Packages to import specified data of an existing OU to the current OU, quickly completing the initial configuration of Configuration Center.
